The festivals in Colombia are really entertainig for everyone. There artist of all types of music sing their favorites songs accompanied by their fans. Others consist of food festivals where you can taste the different flavors of the most renowned chefs in Colombia. 

Rock al Parque is an international festival taking place in Bogota since 1995. The festival’s entry is free of charge. It is considered the most important Rock Festival in Latin America. There are many types of music in this famous festival like, punk, hardcore and metal. The festival features national and international bands. Nowadays the festival takes place over three days at Simon Bolivar Park. 

In this incredible festival many people can interact with their favorite singers, and have a great time with family and friends. It’s a change that anyone would lose to meet and sing along with their favorite singers.

Have you ever visited the best theater ever?

If not you should visit as soon as posible the Jorge Eliecer Gaitan because it is one of the best theaters in Bogota, you can enjoy and use your time in a better way and learn many things while you see the roll play you choose or even a great singer or performer.

I have danced there and in my personal opinion it is a really special theater because the entrance is really big and it is purple, all the chairs are also purple and the scenary is comfortable to dance or perform in a good way.Watching the roll play you have the posibility to acquaire too much kwoledge and change the way you see life and you can also enjoy a great time with friends and family.

In conclusion you should visit this wonderful theater and use your time in a better way.

San Rafael

If you want to watch a movie you should go to the best mall, San Rafael is located  Av. Calle 134 No. 55 - 30 and there you can find the cinemas were you can watch different movies whenever you want and you can go with your friends, family or even with your partner.

Before you enter to the cinema you receive your tickets with the number of your row and the number of your chair as soon as you enter you can see that the cinema is really big and has many red comfortable chairs, the screen is really big and you cvan watch the movies in 3D or in 2D depends on what you prefer, the screen also has a really good defintion and you can also ask for popcorn and something to drink and you have different movies you can watch according to your likes.

In conclusion you can enjoy a with your friends, parents and family in the cinema of San Rafael, I invite you to visit this cinema.

Sports

In Colombia there are plenty of sports that can be practiced in different special places. The most prominent is soccer, which is practiced by about 43% of Colombian population. Many boys and girls all over the world are fascinated with this sport.
This famous sport is formed by 2 groups which contain 11 players. It is divided into 2 halves, each going for 45 minutes. These two divisions make up the standard length of a soccer game which is 90 minutes. Other factors that make up this game include halftime, injury time, penalties and extra time. The positions are center, right wing, left wing, center midfield, left midfield, right midfield, center defense (stopper), right defense, left defense, sweaper, and goalie.

El Coliseo el Campin is one of the most important stadiums in Colombia, there are plenty of soccer events for example the Liga Postobon were different teams like Millonarios, Santafe, Nacional and many others compete for a trophy.It is located on Avenida carrera 24 and calle 54 # 58 with avenida carrera 30 and carrera 28.
In conclusion, the soccer is quite entertaining and suitable for all ages, in order to replace the war for the sport.

Santa Agueda Church.

If you believe in God , you could go to de church Santa Agueda!

It is a beautiful church , that is decorated with many paintings and sculptures that represents , Gods , angels , and also the Virgin Maria , that are the characters more symbolic  in this important church, ubicated in the North of Bogota Av. 19 Calle 134, This church is recognized as one of the most important churches in Bogota , almost all the tourists when to this church , to pray , in the adorable God .

In this church you will find a father , that will organized and made the predications and sermons in the church . This place is specially for catholic people that believe so much in God , and that compromise to be with God all the time , no matter the situation or the problems they have , is a quiet and peaceful place where you can free yourself and let off steam, praying in an appropriate way, and to share your prayers and repentance to god.

This church has ornaments around it that make it look more attractive and more Catholic to worship God. Outside the Church there are some interesting restaurants , that you could enjoy having a small food with your family or friends , after going  to the church.

At the ceremony, led by the father,  they talk about different topics that make people think and see life in a different way, is largely based on what you have and appreciate what is going to give life and God in a future .

Believe me , if you go to this church , you will see life in a different way , you will feel better , you'll take a thought for reflection and gratitude for all  the things that you have and all the things you did sometimes bad.

In conclusion if you have want to thank, or regret something you did, this is the best place where you can talk through your prayers and say everything that make you sad  and upset you,  because it is there  someone  who will listen to you and will be with you forever , that's God.

Have you ever visited the most fantastic restaurant in Bogota?

We can say that Wok is a restaurant fantastic, original and with good decoration, Wok have his own style that it is expanded more and more in the city of Bogota , and Wok had become a recognized restaurant that nowadays it is so popular. this amazing restaurant is located in different places, Usaquen, National Museum, Grand Station, Calle 69, Av 19, Santa Ana, Park 93, Zona T , and Titan ; All those restaurants have an excellent service, hospitality and attention  with their clients.

It is important to mention that this restaurant makes campaigns and helps the animals extinction and the environmental contamination, in the menu you can see the campaigns and the lessons that gives this Restaurant to these problems.  For several years Wok , have been working with small communities of suppliers in different regions of the country , supporting artisanal production practices, agriculture and promoting the substitution of imports for local products.            

Some of the principal foods of this restaurant are:

Bogota's history

The capital of Colombia Bogota has a great history behind it, its not only a big city with lots of entretaimment to go but also a huge historical center there are places where you can see it more than in others for example the neighboor la candelaria the chorro of quevedo were gonsalo jimenes the quesada founded the city or the plaza the bolivar a place were the palacio the la justicia is located first of all im goinf to tell you a little bit of Bogota's history.

The History of Bogota refers to the history of the area surrounding the Colombian capital city of Bogotá. The area of modern Bogotá was first populated by groups of indigenous people that migrated from mesoamerica. Among these groups were the Muiscas that settled in what is now mainly Cundinamarca and Boyacá. With the arrival of the Spanish colonizers the area became a major settlement, founded by Gonzalo Jiménez de Quesada and later capital of the Spanish provinces and the seat of the Viceroyalty of New Granada. With independence Bogotá became capital of the Gran Colombia and later the capital of the Republic of Colombia

As you can see this city is very interesting and this is not even the half soo i sugest you to go to this places cause it so fun for example going to the bolivar plaza were you can trow corn to the birds is so fun or taking a picture beside the guards of the palace of justice and for all the family you can  into the cruch wich is so beautiful.

In bogota's city there are many library's like for example julio mario santo domingo, this is a very big library that is located in 170 street and there is space for 1,2 millions of people, its a perfect place for doing a research or looking for all the information you need. This library has a big variety of rooms each one of them specialited in a diferent thing.

First of all we have some special rooms for little kids and babys were they can play and a ludoteca and for adults and teenagers we've got a reading room, a searching room, a special room with all kind of information about Bogota a music room and a video room. For big events such as conferences, theatral plays or school events the library has a theater that has space for 1250 people and a studio teather with intelligent boards and internet access for 350 people. It works all the days of the week exept on hollydays monday it works from 2 pm to 8 pm tursdays to fridays from 8 am to 8 pm saturdays from 8 am to 7 pm and sundays from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm

In conclucion going to this library has manu advantages like for example doing research in a confortable place with internet acces also asking for books that you can take home for a week long and buying books also its a great place were you can go with your family to see a presetation ot a teather play.

Neighboors

Have you ever seen the beautiful characteristics  our neighborhoods have? Are you one of the persons who think Bogota is full of danger and crimminals? Bogota is a big city, cozy, which has problems but it also has many beautiful things. Sometimes problems, difficulties, accidents, insecurity, makes Bogota image awful. Would you like to know all the positive things that we can find in the different neighborhoods of Bogota? This is the opportunity to show the beauty things Bogota has inside. 

 

There are 20 different localities in Bogota and in this localities there is a total of 1200 neighborhoods. All of them are very important to our history because important fact happened there. Some of the most important neighborhoods in Bogota are La Candelaria, that is the hole historic center, it is touristic for all the facts that ocurred there. La Zona T, which is a beautiful place for eating with family or hanging out with friends to different activities. Near Pablo Sexto, is one of the most important parks here in Bogota, it is called Parque Simon Bolivar, its a beautiful place for having a funny and great day with the family having a picnik. It is also used for concerts of popular people and radio concerts. 

In conclusion Bogota is a grate city to visit. It offers you plans for having fun, know about its history, and live through the colonial culture. If you take some of your time to visit and enjoy this wonderful places you will see that Bogota is not the dangerous city for what is identified, but is a city full of smiles, kind people, activities you can enjoy, interesting history and many different characteristics Bogota has.

Have you ever wondered how many malls has your city? well here in Bogota we have many options, for example Unicentro.This mall has a big variety of shops where you can find everything you need, from a pair of shoes to all the materials you need for a school project. 

I love going there because if i need something i can buy it and if i'm hungry too there's a food plaza were you can eat meat, hamburger, pasta, hot dogs, mexican food, chinesse food chicken and more. Its a great place for being with family or friends, you can watch a movie and play bowling with your friends, if you want you also can go shopping. If you have a little brother or sister you can go with him or her to the first floor were you  have a huge variety of game machines like guitar hero, car driving,space simulators and more, also if you are hungry there are many dessert shops near by, for example dunkin donnuts, crepes and wafles ices creams. If you have to buy a toy for a little kid there are shops like pepe ganga were you will find lots of options or there is falabella too wich is a huge shop of 2 floors and if you are a music lover there is a shop called prodicos were you will find any cd, finally if you love reading you can find nacional library that has books of every gender.

In conclucion this mall is a great place to have fun because you can get what you need, eat, have fun, buy clothes and the last but most important to have a great time with your familly talking and making the various activity's that this mall offers.

This restaurant have a beautiful and interesting story , that would captivate your attention ; Crepes & Waffles is a restaurant that is symbolic, for their food that is so delicious, most of the food are crepes with different recipes and specialties, and do not forget the delicious ice creams and the desserts of waffles . The history of Crepes & Waffles:

the founder of Crepes & waffles is Beatriz Fernandez, that with her creativity she invented , a very famous restaurant in Colombia, which expands increasingly

The story begins in the small restaurant that Beatriz have in the parking of her father in 1980. One day, came a strange lady, who told Beatriz that their waffles were disgusting, the strange lady , helpfully gave his secret recipe, cause she was adept at making waffles, This recipe is still use in the big restaurant Crepes & Waffles. After that, the restaurant took success, and began to expand.

- The first Crepes & Waffles was in an small local of Bogota located in '' Calle 85 con carrera 11''

- After 3 years , it was open the second Crepes & Waffles that was located in the Bogota International Mall.

- trying to go further, and expand more, it was opened a Crepes & waffles in Cartagena.

- They had many commitments with the people that visit the restaurant , that it was decided to create the official mark Crepes & Waffles , and open the third restaurant in Bogota.

- In 1989 they open a Crepes & Waffles in Cali .

- In 1994 they open a Crepes & waffles in Medellin.

- In 1995 '' '' in Ecuador

- In 1997 '' '' in Panama

In the 2000 Crepes & Waffles already had 29 restaurants , and increasingly enriched their customers with their love and attention.

Gold Museum

Have you ever visited the best museum ever?

If not you should visit the Gold museum where you can learn about Precolombian Culture, you can also enjoy watching Gold pieces made on the epoch, and acquire knowledge about native people living in Colombia years ago.The Golden Museum has different atractives and It is really Intresting to go there.

 Mainly  in 1940 the Republican bank received one piece made of Gold called "Poporo", This piece was the one that started the museum,  after this piece the Bank started a colection with and they got approximatly 1,479 precolombian objects. the museum was inagurated in 1968.

There are different rooms each one expose different topics:

Work in metals: Describes how natives worked the metal materials and minery.

People and Gold in prehispanic Colombia. Contextualizes the use of metals within the political and religious organization.

Cosmology and symbolism. Explore the mythic themes, and symbolism of metals.

The offering. A modern room representing the offering ceremony, through visuals, sound and careful assembly of pieces of jewelry.

The exploratory. Interactive room that promotes diversity and significance of heritage preserved by the Museum
